Lovestruck Giveaway Hop

From June 15th to June 22nd, I’m happy to have readers hopping to my blog to find out who is my lovestruck hero for the Lovestruck Giveaway Hop sponsored by Under the Covers and Bona Fide Reflections.  I’m giving away one ebook copy of my debut release, Cooking Up Love.  Its a fun, flirty and sexy contemporary romance novel. Happy hopping!

Justin Richardson

The hero in Cooking Up Love is chef and restaurant owner, Justin Richardson. He’s handsome, suave, chivarlous and simply dreamy.  He’s an irrestible yet down-to-earth guy with wild, sexy curls that a woman can’t help but grab during an intimate moment. He can cook in the kitchen and the bedroom, which is a wonderful combination. He sweeps the herione, Shelbi, off her feet with his sexy and comforting smile when they first meet. Justin isn’t a bad boy playboy, but he lays on the charm in a smooth way by saying things such as:

Come sample this caramel sauce and tell me if it needs anything else.” He held out the spoon for her. “I’m experimenting with you today.” His lowered voice held a hint of seduction.

“It reminds me of you. Sweet, hot caramel with a touch of cinnamon, like your eyes.”

He’s chivarlous:

The red trolley stopped in front of her, and the door slid open. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the trolley driver who had a crush on her and gave her free rides whether she had money or not. Shelbi hoped the driver would have pity on her.

“Good afternoon…um…”—she glanced at his nametag—“Mike. It seems I have given all of my change as a tip to the waitress a few minutes ago. All I have are these few…” She stopped to hold out her hand. “Pennies.”

The driver tilted his head to the side and looked down at her hand. “All you gave the waitress was some change?” he asked in a harsh tone.

Stunned at his remark, as well as embarrassed at the line of people behind her groaning impatiently, Shelbi didn’t know what to say or do. She checked her wallet, hoping she had a dollar hidden somewhere.

“Move it, lady!” a man behind her shouted.

“Hurry up!” a lady with a crying baby screamed.

“I have a slice of tiramisu you can have,” Shelbi whispered. “Never mind.” She turned to go before she said something rude, or worse, cried from embarrassment.

“I’ll take care of it,” a deep, concerned voice to her left said. A whiff of intoxicating cologne floated by as the considerate stranger dropped a one-dollar bill into the trolley’s money slot.

“Thank you.” Shelbi looked up to see a chiseled, handsome face and a sexy smile that caused her breathing to stop. When their eyes met, an immediate rush of sensual excitement washed over her skin. She glanced at his hand that had just placed the money in the slot. No wedding ring, but it didn’t mean he was single. A man as chivalrous as him probably had women chasing him all over Memphis.

“No problem.” He placed his hand at the small of her back. “Let’s go sit down.” The warmth in his voice and his kind gesture made Shelbi forget about her embarrassing moment.

He knows how to please his woman.

He grabbed her hard against him, wrapped one hand around her waist, and sunk the other one in her hair. Their tongues tangled together passionately as if it would be their last kiss. She pressed her throbbing breasts against his firm chest when the erectness of his growing arousal pushed through his pants. A deep moan escaped her at the thought of having his rock-hard shaft penetrate her tenderly and roughly all at the same time. She had been with only one other man, once in her entire life, and hated the experience, which lasted a mere minute. But she was ready to give it to Justin right now if he asked.

He gave her a sly smile and turned them so she was against the refrigerator. Justin placed kisses down her neck as he stroked her pulsing breasts.

“Justin, I really hate to stop what we’re doing, but…” Her voice trailed off as he raised his lips to capture hers once more, this time even more intensely, to smother whatever she was about to say.

“Be quiet, baby.” He claimed her lips once more, sending her into a whirlwind of passion. His kisses were more addictive than chocolate, and she matched them with the same intensity.

Justin wrapped his arms around her waist, matching her heated kisses with his own. He pulled her tongue further into his mouth, setting off a series of breathless moans from her. She removed her lips and placed sensual kisses on his neck, which held the intoxicating cologne he always wore, engulfing her further into his realm. She had been taken out of her world and was in his, with his controlling hands roaming over her body.

Shelbi had never been kissed before by a strong, virile man like Justin. He was passionate, tender, and commanding. She was sexually charged and had the urge to unbuckle his belt and send it flying across the room to get to the hard instrument she wanted to play over and over, until she was out of breath.

“Damn, Justin.” Her breath was heavy as she sucked and licked on his neck to emphasize her words. She moved her hand down to his erection, which hardened even more as she massaged it through his pants.

But when Justin stopped the moment of passion, she was too dazed to hear what he said.

“What, Justin?” If he had said the kitchen was on fire, she wouldn’t have been surprised because his kisses had ignited a fire all over her that could’ve very well exploded and set the place ablaze.

Knock, knock.

What a great way to discover new blogs and visit with old friends. Everybody wins this way!
I absolutely adore all the men in Shelly Laurenston’s Pack/Pride series, and G. A. Aiken’s Dragon Kin series. I re-read these two series all the time. They are full of sexy shifter men and lots of humor. I love humor in my romances and HOT SEXY MEN!!! If I have to pick just one guy that has me LOVESTRUCK, it would have to be “Smitty’ from the book… “The Beast In Him” by Shelly Laurenston. I re-read these two series all the time.
Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win!
