Autumn’s Harvest Blog Hop and Giveaways!

Hello, readers!

Starting on November 9th and ending on November 12th, over 200 authors and bloggers will share our favorite things about autumn and of course sexy heroes for the Autumn’s Harvest Blog Hop sponsored by Carrie Ann’s Blog Hops.

*****

Who says people only fall in love during the spring and summer months? Fall is the perfect time to fall in love. Maybe that’s why autumn is also called fall. And who says there aren’t fun things to do for a first date? There are plenty of outdoor activities such as concerts at the park, traveling carnivals or touring your local botanical gardens. You can still have a romantic picnic because it’s not too cold or too hot. The weather is just right. Plus, ladies if you’re suddenly cold and he gives you his jacket to keep you warm or even better, wraps his arms around you and pulls you close to his strong, protective chest, you have a keeper!

In my first novel, Cooking Up Love, the heroine and hero meet on the first day of fall in Memphis, Tennessee. Not only is the hero, Justin Richardson, suave, sexy and handsome, he’s also chivalrous. When he meets the heroine, Shelbi Arrington, on the downtown trolley, she’s not looking for love she’s looking for change in her purse. Justin pays her trolley fare to save her from the mean, ranting crowd behind her. Plus, I think he just wanted to meet the woman with the cute face, flirty smile, and curvy hips with a plump bottom. (Justin’s words, not mine.) Below is the cover and blurb for Cooking Up Love.

*****

A suave, handsome chef is cooking up ways to please the appetite of a sassy food critic. (And not necessarily in the kitchen.)

When Shelbi Arrington accepts a position as a food critic in the hopes of burying her medical career and foregoing her residency, the last thing she’s searching for is love. However, that’s just what the doctor ordered especially when she lays eyes on the handsome chef, Justin Richardson. While sorting out her secret conflict of continuing her medical career, she falls for his mouthwatering charm, leaving her hungry for anything he has to offer.

Justin is leery of doctors because a doctor’s negligence caused his mother’s death when he was twelve. He has put his focus and energy into his restaurant, which had been a dream he and his mother shared. Justin is immediately smitten by the cute, sassy food critic that has him cooking up different ways to please her appetite. But when things start to heat up, Shelbi learns of a shocking revelation that could extinguish the flame of their relationship. Will Justin be able to forget his pain and commit to the woman who has stolen his heart?

Cooking Up Love is a fun, flirty and sexy contemporary romance novel and the first book in the Arrington Family Series.

  3. Thanks for the giveaway!! The thing I like most about Autumn is the cooler temperatures! jenni_bearz(at)hotmail(dot)com

  4. I adore autumn because of the amazing colors, bundling up in sweaters, Halloween and my birthday! Autumn also means cuddling up with a good book and a cup of cocoa!

I love the hops cause of all the awesome new books I find to add to my to read list!

  5. I never really thought about it that way. We always hear about summer of love and think of that as the wedding season, but autumn does have the same appeal. The landscape at that time of year alone is enough to set the mood.

  6. I like fall for the cooler weather, the leaves changing color, and pumpkin pie. I thought love doesn’t have a season because it happens at any time.

  7. My favorite thing about Autumn/Fall is the changing color of the leaves, orange, yellow, red, even purple. They are so pretty. My least favorite thing is raking up those pretty leaves. LOL I love to curl up by the fire and read a hot romance book on a cold fall evening. Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win.

  9. Thanks for joining in the hop. It was great to be introduced to your work.
My favorite part about autumn is that the cool weather gives me the perfect excuse to keep my oven full of yummy deliciousness that I really can’t do during two of the three other seasons. I love the feeling of being able to have yummy stuff baking while I nestle in with a good read.
