A Few Updates and Announcements from Candace Shaw

Hello readers!

I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm. It’s getting chilly in Atlanta so I’ve been busy this week switching out my closets and searching on line for a few more sweaters and boots for the winter.

Today I’m the spotlight author on Stephanie N. Norris’ blog. Find out how I feel about bad reviews, my favorite scene from one of my books and future projects. Here’s the link. Spotlight on Candace Shaw. Plus, while there check out Stephanie’s books. I’m spotlighting her latest release tomorrow.

Updates

So I know everyone wants to know when my next book is coming out. I’m currently working on the rough draft of book four in the Arrington family series, Prescription for Desire, which is Dr. Raven Arrington and Dr. Armand Phillip’s love story. The book picks up from the Epilogue in Only One for Me when Cannon calls Raven and asks for a favor. I’m having fun writing the book so I hope you enjoy it. It’s set in Memphis and Argentina. I’m planning for a spring 2014 release. (Also, there’s more information about the book in my spotlight with Stephanie so make sure to check it out.)

I sent my manuscript to my editor with Harlequin Kimani Romance in the beginning of September.  My first Kimani, Her Perfect Candidate will be released in June 2014. It’s the first book in the Chasing Love series, so I’m quite excited. If you’ve read The Game of Seduction, then you met Megan and Sydney Chase, the identical twins who are cousins to the Arrington siblings. The Chase twins may look alike but their personalities are totally different. Megan is the more out-going twin with a bubbly, whimsical personality and Sydney is laid back, prefers jeans and riding her beloved pink Harley Davidson. I just sent her proposal off to Kimani at the end of September and keeping my fingers crossed that its accepted so I can began writing it. The twins also have a big brother, Braxton who’s a jazz pianist and owns a jazz club in Atlanta.  I have some ideas running around in my head for him.

I received the cover for Her Perfect Candidate last week, and I’m so in love with it! It also made me a little teary-eyed because it finally sunk in that my dream of writing for Harlequin has actually come true! I will share the cover  and blurb soon.
