Excerpt
(Background info: Tiffani has just informed Broderick about her marriage to her late husband. KJ is her son for those who haven’t read the previous books.)
Broderick washed his hands over his face. “I’m sorry the bastard’s dead because of KJ, but I’m glad you’re not in hell anymore. I’m sure your next husband won’t be like that.”
Tiffani shook her head vigorously. “There won’t be a next husband. I’m never getting married again.”
“I don’t blame you one bit, but what about a steady boyfriend?” He rested his hand on his chin.
“Um… I’m kind of open to that or a companion that I can hang out with and go to dinner and events. Perhaps travel, but I wouldn’t call him my boyfriend. That’s so high school. I’d just want to be.”
“Be what?” he asked as his forehead indented.
She laughed. It was the first time she’d spoken her idea out loud. “I know it sounds weird. But I want to just be in the moment, not in a relationship where I can’t make my own decisions and feel as though I’m suffocating. I refuse to be treated the way Keith treated me ever again. Broderick, there were times when I looked in the mirror and I didn’t know who was staring back. I lost my confidence, my voice and my strength during those six years. I lost me. I can’t let another man control and degrade me. I have my son to consider, my peace of mind and my sanity.”
“So this be-in-the-moment relationship? Would it be with more than one dude?”
“Oh no. Definitely no.”
“Would this be an intimate relationship, as well?”
She noted the arrogant rise of his curious smile. “Yes, I would hope so and he’d have to be really great in bed.”
“I see.” He sipped his scotch and studied her with dark, amorous eyes. “Anything else?”
“He’d have to be someone I can confide in and trust. Not someone who would want to know my finances or try to control my life. At the end of the day, I make my own decisions.”
“Go ’head, Janet, or Ms. Jackson if you’re nasty,” he joked. “You call your own shots, beautiful.”
She giggled. “You’re hilarious. I love when you call me beautiful.”
“That’s because you are. Inside and out.”
Truth, seduction and lust were all laced into his words and his stare. She bit her bottom lip and ran her hand slowly along her bare neck, down to her collarbone and across the top of her cleavage as a slight mist of sweat formed on her skin. Her pulse sped up as he licked his bottom lip LL Cool J style, and she realized what she had just done. She silently hoped Broderick would replace her hand with his tongue.
He slid off the desk and snatched her out of the chair by her waist. His lips hesitated over hers as he stared into her eyes and beyond. Tiffani could taste the scent of his scotch and wanted to savor more. Her body quivered in his commanding embrace as raw pleasure journeyed throughout her veins.

When he lowered his lips an extra half inch to hers, it felt like their first kiss all over again. Broderick explored her appealing mouth slowly. He wanted to become familiar with every crevice of it just in case a while passed before she let him near her again. However, the thought of that caused an intense churn in his stomach, and he delved deeper so she would always crave for him to kiss and caress her. She was radiant, and the moans erupting from her mouth were driving him insane. Pivoting them, he placed her on the desk and gazed at her as he slowly pulled the hem of her skirt up her legs until it reached mid-thigh. Not once did she flinch, blink or protest. Instead, a sinful smile emerged, and she wrapped her long legs around his waist.
“Take off your coat,” she whispered against his lips.
Wasting no time, he followed her demand and flung it to the floor.
Nibbling her bottom lip, he slid a hand on her lacy panties. “Now you have to take off something.” He continued rubbing her in a circular fashion as her breathing became slightly unhinged, but she still didn’t appear unruffled. Instead, she was quite composed, and he was determined to change that soon.
“What do you want me to take off?” Running her hands up his face she kissed him slow and deep, turning her tongue hard around his.
“Everything,” he growled in her mouth.
“Just one item. I’ll even let you pick.”

Hi Candace I forgot to give my favorite scene is from the game of seduction when they were travelling and Rasheed got the call to hook up with one of his girlfriend and Bria was listening. I love what took place afterwards yummy yummy.
I loved them all, but I think I have to pick the short story you did, I believe it was called “only for you”. I printed it out and read it in the doctor’s office, I was laughing and fussing so loud, one of the other patients commented that I must have been reading a good book. I explained I was other than the embarrassment of my out burst, I truly loved that book. When I run out of reading material I re-read this. It was great.

My favorite scene is from Journey of Seduction. It is found on page 50-51. It is the conversation between Syd and Bryce. Where Syd is contemplating going to Vegas for her voluntold vacation. It reads, “He rapidly tapped his finger on the table as his brain worked in overtime. How about you ride with me? My trailer holds two motorcycles. I’m leaving Wednesday around tow in the afternoon. I could use another driver.” “Oh… no. I’ll probably fly. I may not even go. I’m just looking at all the options.” “Well, let me know if you decide to go. Maybe we can hang out since we’re semi getting along now.” “Um.. I’m sure if I go we’ll run into each other.” “Yeah.. or you can call me,” he suggested in a low sexy voice. She laughed nervously. “Um.. I gotta go.. wash this conditioner out of my hair, but please text me the information.” He chuckled silently. He hadn’t heard that excuse from a woman in ages.
It is from that moment one knew it was going to be on and poppin between Syd and Bryce.
My chose would be the Journey to Seduction with the seen where Bryce passionately kissed Sydney when he went to the hospital to see for Megan. How smooth he was and how the kiss affected her underneath all her hard & tough girl attitude she had towards him. It was priceless!
My favorite scene comes from my favorite book, “The Game of Seduction.” The scene starts when Bria and Rasheed are dancing together at the club on New Year’s Eve and they quickly leave and do some heavy making out in the limo. Their back and forth banter in the limo and on the porch once they get back to his place is at the same time hilarious and hot.
My favorite scene comes from Cooking Up Love. It is when Shelbi realizes the doctor Justin hates and despises is her father. She knows she has to let him go and she gives him the sweetest kiss goodbye, even though he was sick with a cold.
Ok so a big fan of the Arrington family series my favorite book of the series is game of seduction. I really liked the fact that you made bria and rasheed friends first. My favorite scene is when bria was fixing rasheeds tie and they kiss. She was so flustered because she enjoyed it and knew their friendship wouldn’t be the same …… p.s I liked how he was offended when bria said she thought he was a player
There are many, but one of my favorite scenes is in HER PERFECT CANDIDATE. After inspecting her disabled car Megan hears her cell phone ringing in the back seat. She reaches in to get it and notices a car approaching. She grabs her mace, but when she spies a gorgeous tall specimen approaching, she tosses the mace back in the car and desperately tries to maintain her cool before this man who is making her lose touch with reality. LOL!!!!

Congratulations!! My favorite scene is from the Game of Seduction when Bria leaves Atlanta to return home because she thinks Rasheed has resumed his playboy behavior and Rasheed is waiting for her in her condo.
First off, hats off to the talent that starts in your mind which leads to the awesomeness that’s got me flipping pages and anxiously awaiting future books! My choice would have to be my absolute favorite, the best cat and mouse I’ve ever read, “JOURNEY TO SEDUCTION”. The way Sydney tried to convince herself that medication was the reason she let him kiss her like that girrrrl please lol..Even on meds she know she would have still enjoyed that! Bryce, I love how he proved he wasn’t who she prejudged him to be. He layed it on her thick! He gave that take charge attitude all of us women want and laid claim to her before she even knew it..but then again she knew it and it was only a matter of time before she accepted it.”who did you come with ” lawd, I swear I could feel the these two steaming from the pages! Another scene I enjoyed was after them getting back home and her thinking she could really leave “all that” in vegas. She pretends to be unaffected and cool BUT she thinks of him often and doesn’t think other women “fit him” as potential girlfriend material. “Mmm..i don’t think they would work out but I’m sure one of Steven’s friends would be a good idea.” Nice cover up for someone who doesn’t want anybody else to, not even herself for the time being lol. At the same Bryce and that “your still mine period point blank” attitude with “who do you belong to”….I ACTUALLY SAID ME, OUT LOUD lol!! THIS was indeed the book that my husband said I literally went “IN TO” YES, it had my nose so far in it that I never heard him say a word to me until it was taken out of my hands. Oh and it’s one of 4 books that i always take with me on vacations and car rides, ITS THAT DARN GOOD TO ME!! Its a re-read every other week and IT SHOULD BE A MOVIE AND YES USE THE GUY FROM THE COVER aka mr rapper from Zane HBO show, I can see him doing that. TOODLES!! 😉

My favorite scene is from Cooking Up Love. When Shelbi arrived at the restaurant to meet with Jay and found him dancing and singing. When he turned around she saw that he was the guy that she had met on the trolley and had been having mad dreams about. 🙂 It was a priceless confrontation when she accused him of trying to bribe her for a good review. Whew…. the sparks flew!! I loved that scene. That let me know they were meant for each other despite the incident with his mother. Definitely a challenge for a relationship. I loved how that all came to a head. Great book!

My most memorable scene is between Bryce and Syd at the convention when he becomes enraged at the guy who put his hands on her. I envisioned him pacing like a mad man before he walks up to her and asks her who she came with.
My favorite scene was from The Perfect Candidate. Megan was in total awe of the fine specimen who got out his vehicle to help her with the disabled car she was driving. Never could she imagine the dark piece of chocolate man she would fall in love with!
I like the classroom scene in SIMPLY AMAZING.
Love the chasing love series…my favorite scene..is in journey to seduction.is when Bryce..said who’s the lame guy you’re with?he meets her in the bathroom…I love it when she says oh that..you jealous baby?…and he like no..he just not your type….and she like really..then who is my type….and he pulls her to him….and kisses her…..love it…….
Simply Amazing…when Ricky broke into her house and Cannon was there to help before she knew it was Ricky. It shows his protection.
I jut realized I forgot to tell you my favorite scene of the book, it was the end with the Ferris wheel and all in the back yard. It really, really was hard to select a favorite scene at all.

My favorite scene was from The Sweetest Kiss. It was when Tiffani found out that Broderick’s dad was in the hospital and she went to be with him. I love how she dropped everything to go be with him even though she was mad at him. The whole hospital scene was so amazing and filled with so much love. It shows how love can conquer all even in the midst of misunderstanding!
My favorite scene is from Journey to Seduction, when Bryce finally went down to the Meet and Greet to find Syd talking to a guy and Bryce slammed the glass down to walk over where Syd was. Bryce told the guy to remove his hand, words were passed and the guy called Syd a trick. He was also pissed cause she told the guy she didn’t have a man. The kiss Bryce laid on her was priceless and hot.
My favorite scene was in Cooking Up Love when Shelby finally came clean to Justin about her father, her occupation & her fears. It was a real moment between them. Love this series!
My favorite scene is from “Her Perfect Candidate”. When Megan and Steven have first met on the side of the highway when Megan had a flat tire.. Also, when they run into each other at the fundraiser and Megan learned that Steven is the Georgia State senator.
Hey hope all is well. My father scene is in The game of Seduction. When Rasheed and Bria are in his home theater and he’s mad because his friend wanted to talk to Bria and he asked her if she had a man and she said no. I love that moment. I can’t tell you how many times I have reread that book. I love all your books.

I love the sexual chemistry between Dr. Raven Arrington and Dr. Armand Phillips. My favorite scene was before and after Raven had successfully saved Mrs. Gonzalez and her baby in an emergency C-section. Raven had gotten and attitude because she felt that Dr. Phillips was questioning her judgement. They had a few words and both agreed on the rule that her father had made at the Arrington practice to never raise voices or argue in front of patients. After the Arguement Raven had to ask him to let her in the elevator because she had forgotten her key card. I love a story with sexual tension from the beginning. I also like that Raven is older than Armand.

Ok as for what my favorite scene in any of your books, I’d have to say it would have to Drs. Armand & Raven love making against the tree in Prescription for Desire! That scene was hot 🔥🔥🔥
My Favorite scene is from “Her Perfect Candidate” Megan and Steven. While Megan was driving on the interstate and got a flat tire. She decided she was going to change the flat tire herself in a short black dress and 4 inch heels. While attempting to do so a car pulled up behind her and she was ready with her mace and when she looked up and saw how fine the brother was. Introductions were made and Steven changed her flat tire and she was on her way. Steven being the Georgia state senator Megan didn’t recognize him. Once the tire was changed and she was on her way to a scholarship fund-raiser event and had arrived who walks in none other than Steven. I so enjoyed this book along with book 2 “Journey To Seduction” Sydney and Bryce Steven’s brother. That’s right twins keeping in the family. Waiting for book 3 now about the cousin “The Sweetest Kiss”
